The Air King collection is part of the explorer family and has a great history that any aviation fan will appreciate. Originally it was made famous by fighter pilots in World War II.

Amongst fighter pilots, the Rolex Air King was a favorite which led the owner of Rolex, Hans Wilsdorf, to create a new line of Oyster watches as a dedication to them. While the other models eventually fell by the wayside, the Rolex Air King survived and is now one of the most popular Rolex timepieces.

Today the Air King will be suitable for many different occasions including business, leisure or formal attire.
