Item description

In 2000, the brand launched the Luminor Submersible 1000 meters. It was developed as a professional divers timepiece that boasted amazing 1000-meters water-resistance. Panerai Luminor Submersible watches are crafted in either stainless steel or titanium. The watch is based upon the initial timepieces that appeared in the mid 1950s. They were commissioned by the Egyptian Navy. To distinguish a Luminor Submersible from a rich selection of other Panerai timepieces, pay attention to its uni-directional rotating bezel. On the matte black dial of the Luminor Submersible watch you will notice a small seconds hand at 9 oclock and a date window with magnifier at 3 oclock. The dial also sports originally-styled hour and minute hands with tritium-treated tips. There are two oversized Arabic numerals - 6 and 12, and big round markers for other hours.
